UTANIA
GEOGRAPHY
Location: Old Eastern continent, South-eastern sector,
couched between Guwimith and Yellow Bay between 15 and 30 degrees
South, and 60 and 75 degrees East.
Encompasses: It wholly encompasses the UNV "Point
South" administrative zone, and the former Guwimithian
provinces of Guwimith Wide Shore, Duck Egg Shore,
"Mountains" and Horn of Olives.
Area: Total - 930,800 sq.Km
Lasanne: 148,400 sq.Km
Savana: 266,400 sq.Km
Nystonia: 128,400 sq.Km
Utani B'yan: 387,600 sq.Km
Land Borders: At this stage this information is
unavailable.
Sea Borders: Utania has approximately 3050km of beaches.
Climate: Warm to Cool, with alpine regions (temperate to
cool) in the north-west of the country, and warm-to-temperate
grassland plains in the south-west of the country. The east of
the country is of moist, temperate climate.
Terrain: Plains closest to the sea, rising to a peak of
mountainous territory in the north-west.
Elevation Extremes: Mount C'Hajas 5,600m, Lake Peron -32m.
Natural Resources: coal, Iron ore, Silver, Aluminium,
gold, lead, tin, limestone, iron ore, salt, clay and silica, plus
petroleum and natural gas to sea.
Land Use: Unknown at this time.

available until the census is completed.

Languages: Utani, Ingalish (59%). There are other tribal
dialects, but these are treated as Utani, which is the common
language.
Capital: Utan Krysaror (formerly Ploche)
COMMUNICATION
Telephones: Est. 18 Million
Telephone System: Operated by an amalgamated
Telecommunication Corporations, formerly several smaller
companies or organisations, the system is a mix of fiber optic,
microwave, coaxial cable and twisted pair cables.
TRANSPORTATION
Railways: There is an extended and significant rail
network of unknown total length. Rail is the main method for
goods transportation.
Highways: The highway system within Utania is
under-developed, and it is a government platform to see this
reversed as soon as the UNV release control
Ports and Harbours: There is five major harbours: Luka,
Utan Krysaror, Agraam, Shecker and Vela Luka. Several other
smaller harbours exist.
Airports:There is twenty-four domestic airports, and two
international airports (Luka and Utan Krysaror).
Airlines: Several international airlines have access to
Utanian airspace, however, there is currently only two domestic
airlines: Utani Airlines (Govt owned) and National Lasanne
Airlines (former Govt., sold to private interests).
